Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Intrivalo LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Intrivalo", "we", "us"), operates the stock valuation and screening service at intrivalo.com and is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@intrivalo.com, or by post to the address below.

2. What we collect

Account data. Your email address, an optional display name, and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form. We also keep your plan, whether your email is verified, and counters for how many analyses and AI questions you have used.

Data you create. The tickers you analyse, your watchlist, any portfolio holdings you enter (ticker, share count, average buy price), your custom DCF assumptions, alert preferences and your interface theme.

Questions you ask our AI. The text of questions you type into Ticker Chat, together with the ticker context.

Technical data. Standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in.

3. Why we use it

To run your account and keep you signed in; to save and display your analyses, watchlist and portfolio; to send the emails you ask for (verification, password reset, and watchlist alerts if you enable them); to enforce plan limits and prevent abuse; and to keep the service secure and working. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job:

• Anthropic — when you use Ticker Chat or AI filing analysis, your question and the relevant financial context are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. Do not include personal or confidential information in those questions.
• Resend — your email address, so we can deliver verification, password reset and alert emails.
• Railway — our hosting and database provider, which stores the data described above.
• Content delivery networks — some interface libraries (charting, styling, text formatting) are loaded from jsdelivr and the Tailwind CDN. Your browser contacts them directly, so they can see your IP address. Fonts are served from our own servers and are not shared with any third party.
• Market data sources — we request public company data from stockanalysis.com, Yahoo Finance and OpenInsider. We send them ticker symbols, never your personal data.
• Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google” to sign in. Google tells us your email address, name and a stable account identifier so we can create or find your account. We do not receive your Google password, and we request no access to any other Google service.

Where your data goes. Our hosting, email and AI providers are based in the United States, so your data is processed outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where the law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we rely on our providers’ standard contractual clauses.

5. Our legal basis for using your data

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for each thing we do with your data. Ours are:

• Performance of a contract — running your account, saving your analyses, watchlist and portfolio, and providing the features of the plan you are on.
• Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, enforcing plan limits, and fixing faults. We have considered your rights and do not think these uses override them.
• Consent — sending you optional alert emails. You can withdraw this at any time in your notification settings, without affecting anything else.
• Legal obligation — where we must keep or disclose information to comply with the law.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use two essential cookies, both strictly necessary for the service to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in while you browse, and a “remember me” cookie so you stay signed in between visits. Neither is used for tracking, profiling or advertising.

We also store a small amount of information in your browser’s local storage to remember interface preferences — whether a panel is open or minimised, which filter you last used on the screener, and which scanner items you have already seen. This never leaves your device and is not sent to us.

If you sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies on its own domain as part of that sign-in. Those are governed by Google’s privacy policy, not this one.

We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers. Because we set only strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is required. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to stay signed in.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your personal data and everything tied to it — analyses, watchlist, portfolio, custom assumptions and notifications — from our live database. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis. Server logs are retained for a short period for security and debugging.

9. Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. No service can promise perfect security, but we limit who and what can reach your data and we fix problems promptly when we find them.

10. Children

Intrivalo is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will tell you by email or in the app.
